Skopje bourse's blue-chip index edges up in trading week ended July 16
SKOPJE (North Macedonia), July 16 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip MBI-10 index of the stock exchange in Skopje closed at 5,388.89 points on Friday, up 0.6% compared with its closing value of 5,357.29 points on July 9, bourse data showed.
Turnover on the official market of the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) rose to 160.9 million denars ($3.1 million/2.6 million euro) this week from 108.5 million denars last week.
Komercijalna Banka [MSE:KMB] contributed the largest single portion of the trading turnover on the MSE this week, of 69.8 million denars, as 7,636 of the lender's shares changed hands in a total of 180 transactions.
The MSE's OMB bond index closed at 133.68 points on July 16, unchanged compared with its closing reading of July 9.
