Croatia's blue-chip indices advance

ZAGREB (Croatia), March 17 (SeeNews) - The main equity indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) ended higher for a second day in a row, bourse data showed on Friday.
The 18-share CROBEX rose 0.86% to end at 2,244.56 points. The narrower index CROBEX10, which tracks the top ten issuers in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, climbed 0.90% to finish at 1,280.37 points.
The country’s top lender, Zagrebacka Banka [ZSE:ZABA], was the most traded company on the bourse on Friday with a turnover of 174,200 euro ($186,000). Its shares rose 0.42% to end at 12.05 euro. It is part of the wider equity index.
Food and pharmaceuticals producer Podravka [ZSE:PODR] ranked second with a turnover of 134,200 euro. Its shares declined 0.22% to end at 89 euro.
After the end of the trading session on Friday, the bourse will carry out a regular revision of the indices.
The bourse's total trading turnover was 1.0 million euro, down from 1.1 million euro on Thursday.
